Admission and registration
Admission requirements and registration formalities will vary for applicants, according to their country of origin, i.e. from within or outside the EU or from Scandinavia. Applications from students from countries within the EU will be treated according to the rules of bilateral agreements existing within the Erasmus programme. Applicants from Scandinavia will be accepted according to the rules of the Nordplus agreement. Applicants from Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia will be accepted according to a mutual agreement based on reciprocity. Applicants from other countries will be accepted on a payment basis

Exchange students
Exchange students are foreign students who study at Viborg/Thisted School of Nursing as part of their programmes at their home institution. Applications for the autumn/winter semester should be made no later than April 1st and for the spring semester no later than October 1st. Students should receive confirmation of their acceptance on the autumn/winter semester no later than July 15th and their acceptance on the spring/summer semester no later than December 15th.

The language of teaching on the international nursing programme during the autumn semester is English. Written assignments are to be completed in English.

Academic requirements
Student nurses must have completed at least one year of a nursing education program at their home institution before applying for admission. Proof of a good command of English is a prerequisite for admission.
